Current Status

Here's a quick update.

I've just this minute emailed Netrino (the current co-lo hosts) urging them to phone me. For weeks, FBz has been promised a call back almost every day - but hasn't received one. Today, their phones go to voicemail.

In the email, I request that the server is made available for collection by us - regardless of us not having a new home for it just yet. If they do not contact us by the end of the new week, we'll be considering legal action.

We don't particularly care about the server itself, but we desperately need the data on the harddisks to get the Island Gamers website up and running again (as well as many other websites that the server was hosting).

As most members probably know, the server as it is, is not in a standard rackmountable chassis, preventing us from hosting it with the majority of co-lo providers. So, last night I purchased a 1U chassis for the server. At least there's a little bit of progress!
